All enrolled 4-H members and their parents/guardians/favorite adult (no dropoffs for this event) are invited to Project Night on May 6th!

There is no cost to attend Project Nights, except when noted for individual projects (e.g. start up/kit cost, material to make a quilt, supplies for a jewelry project, or materials you may use outside of this project night).

Reminder: You must be enrolled and signed up to participate in Project Night learning sessions! Project leaders may only have enough supplies or seats available for the number of youth that are signed up. If your chosen session is full, you will be contacted by email to select another project.

Fair Q & A
This is a great time to get your Fair entry questions answered! Fair staff will be available and open for specific project questions. Session 1 & 2: All ages

Goats
This session will help youth learn all about the basics of Goat Feeding. Participants do not need to have goats to come learn and engage in hands on fun! Session 1 & 2: All ages

Love Bug Creation Station
Come on over and help prepare kits for the Love Bug project (a friendly sewn bug that can help make a child’s day better). Youth and parents looking to contribute to the Countywide Community Service project should sign up for a session of service prepping these kits. Sessions 1 & 2: All ages

Rocketry
Youth will learn how to assemble model rockets. All rocket building supplies and kits will be available and the cost of this project is $5 per youth. The rocket project will meet at 2 additional project nights in preparation for the Rocket Launch on Friday, May 8th, 5-8 p.m. Session 2: Age 9+ or 3rd grade+

Youth Leadership Group
Youth leaders will be learning and practicing Customer Service skills and how to make change in preparation for life skills and working at the 4-H Food Stand this summer. Session 1: College & Career Skills, for current Youth Leaders or anyone interested in joining this group. (+ snack time)

Horse & Horseless Horse
The project is available for any horse-loving members whether or not they own or have access to a horse. Educational opportunities will be available for any interested youth. Session 1 & 2: All ages

Photography
Join Troy Freund of Mike Crivello’s Cameras to learn more about professional portrait photography. Photographers of all experience levels are welcome! Youth need to have access to a CHARGED camera or phone! Session 1: K-5th grade, parent support may be needed, Session 2: 6th grade+

STEAM
Learn about the stretchy world of polymers—those amazing long chains that make up everything from slime to rubber bands! In this messy project, you’ll learn what polymers ae and why they can grow and expand like magic Session 1 & 2: All ages
