About Farm to School
Farm to School (F2S) is a movement that encourages a healthy lifestyle in children and promotes supporting local economies through the use of locally and regionally grown foods in schools. F2S activities can include nutrition education in classrooms, farmer visits, and school gardens.
We are currently a proud AmeriCorps Farm to School Host Site through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Our AmeriCorps F2S Member serves two schools in the Waukesha School District to improve child nutrition through educational activities for students and families, providing garden education, and increasing awareness of where food comes from.
Schools can participate in their own capacity, and even become involved in the Wisconsin F2S Recognition Program to gain recognition and celebrate F2S accomplishments.

Extension Waukesha County is located in the Administration Center of the Waukesha County Courthouse Complex. Enter through the main Courthouse doors. After going through security, take the corridor on the left to the the Administration Center. Take the elevators or stairs to the ground floor and go to room G22.
