We welcome you to attend the 2nd annual Extension Waukesha County 4-H Nature Extravaganza STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) event at Lapham Peak State Park (W329 N846 County Rd. C, Delafield) on June 6th from 1-5 p.m.
This event will bring together 4-H youth, families, friends & teams from across the county for unique STEAM challenges at a local state park. Teams will engage in geocaching, photography, volunteerism, art and science in a unique competition-style learning event. Teams will find geocaches, artistically and scientifically photograph living things, remove trash and invasive plants, track fitness, participate in a citizen science bee survey, and identify all the plants and animals photographed to earn points for their team. All ages and families are welcome and encouraged to participate in this 4-H event. Teams include one adult and up to 5 youth.
Thanks to Brookfield Blazers club leader, Gayle, for helping create & partnering on this 2nd annual Nature Extravaganza! If you have questions about this event please contact Gayle Nicoll, gaylenicollphd@gmail.com or Sara, (262)-548-7774, stomjanovich@wisc.edu with any questions.
Please complete ONE sign up per family (unless you are registering more than one team) and include your Team name & requested Teammates on this form. Registration will close 5/25 to give our planning team time to prepare for the Adventurers and Naturists. A $2 suggested donation per team is encouraged to offset the costs of this event. We will have the 4-H donation jar at the event.
If you have questions, contact Gayle Nicoll, gaylenicollphd@gmail.com, or Sara Wells-Tomjanovich, stomjanovich@wisc.edu or (262) 548-7774.
