Community Youth Development

Community Youth Development

Community Youth Development intentionally connects young people with community based organizations including schools, colleges, universities, local governments, and nonprofits.

The Extension Waukesha County community youth development program provides opportunities to engage kindergarten through 12th grade youth in positive learning experiences. Students explore activities and projects and discover personal interests.

If you are a school interested in learning more about programs at your school or community organizations, contact James Boling at james.boling@wisc.edu.

4-H Afterschool

4-H Afterschool Clubs are offered to youth at the end of the school day. 4-H Afterschool Clubs are often divided by age groups and meet in the school which provides a safe and supportive environment for youth after school.
