2025 4-H Summer Camp

Theme: Myths and Legends
Youth will enjoy various activities including archery, canoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming, team building, educational crafts, evening campfires, songs, skits, and MORE special themed programs to complete the experience.
4-H Summer Camp provides leadership training and opportunities for the older youth who, along with 4-H adult volunteers, plan and organize camp activities.
Both overnight and day camp options are available to meet the needs of youth.
Overnight Camp: August 13th-16th. Ages 9-16 years old as of September 1, 2024. Drop off is on August 13th at 7:30 am, and pick up is on August 16th at 11:00 am. (Financial support is provided to 4-H members by the Waukesha County 4-H Leaders Association.)
Overnight Camp Cost: $300 for approved Extension Waukesha County 4-H Members, $350 for non members
Day Camp: August 13th-15th. Ages 5k-16 years old as of September 1, 2024. Drop-off is at 7:30 am and pick-up is 5:00 pm on August 13th-15th. (There is no day camp on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.)
Day Camp Cost: $175 for all youth
Payments:
Your child’s spot at camp is not secure until we receive payment in full.
- Payments can be made via credit card or e-check online. Fees will be added to the cost of camp for these payment methods.
- Personal checks or cash payments may be delivered to the Extension Waukesha County office or checks may be mailed to the office.
We do not offer refunds.

Horseback Riding: $20 to participate
Horseback riding is NOT included in camp cost. If you want your child to participate in horseback riding, a separate $20 check must be made out to “UW Madison, Extension” with Waukesha Camp in the memo line and submitted to the Extension Waukesha County 4-H office by June 1.

Before beginning camp registration, please:
- Review the 4-H Code of Conduct with your child/children – 4-H Code of Conduct
- Gather all information on the Wisconsin 4-H Camp Health Form as it is incorporated into the electronic registration process. There is no need to fill out the physical copy as we will not be collecting it.
Camp applications are accepted in the order that they are completed (this includes payment in full and immunization records). Incomplete registrations do NOT hold a spot and may be moved to the waiting list.

Extension Waukesha County is located in the Administration Center of the Waukesha County Courthouse Complex. Enter through the main Courthouse doors. After going through security, take the corridor on the left to the the Administration Center. Take the elevators or stairs to the ground floor and go to room G22.
