Clover Cup 2026

Clover Cup 2026! Create your car at Project Nights, then race it on May 13th. A limited number of kits are available with a $5 donation per youth to 4-H.

Clover Cup Rules

All cars must pass the following inspection to qualify for the race:

• Width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
• Length shall not exceed 7 inches.
• Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces. Except Outlaw Class = 5.1-10oz Please note on registration!
• Axles, wheels, and body shall be from the materials provided in the kit. Additional wheels can be purchased indepdendently at craft stores or online.
• Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
• Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
• The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
• The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
• No loose materials of any kind are allowed on the car.

This project requires direct parent participation and supervision (due to sharp tools used) and work may need to be done at home outside of project meetings to finalize the car. Contact Sara with questions at (262) 548-7774 or stomjanovich@wisc.edu.
